what happened to your artwork? i stepped on it

nostalgia fills the air.
Coffee frappes in haberfield on my 30 degree day off.
This hot weather is my life. How could i possibly study when its such a delectable day?
This weather brings back memories of this time last year and summer time - it was the absolute best. I miss those days so much, not that now is bad at all, but just the thought that it's never going to be quite that way again - the mood and atmosphere can never quite be matched.

but certain smells and songs, and even clothes are sparking off good times.
found a couple of oldy pics that made me lol.
i like

ok, so they're not that old.
but i love em, and i love those times
and i want my hair back like that --> school photo shot
(the come together picture i just had to throw in for fun <3)

how epic

[late post - is about 17th September]

today was a good today.
Today was a great day! The weather was absolutely brilliant, exactly what i've been waiting for and it's put me in a great mood all day. Everything's just been going right...

So I haven't blogged in ages guys, I'm so sorry, I've been caught up in procrastinating study. I will catch you up soon i promise!
But on with today.

Darling J came over last night and we watched the all time classic To Kill A Mockingbird.
That movie is absolutely fantastic. Gregory Peck is amazing, and so are his children.
When I have kids, my boy's middle name is going to be Atticus <3

So although we went to bed at 11.30, the wondrous invention of home's allowed for an EPIC sleep, followed by a 20 minute lie-in/chat - so much for our goal of getting up at 8! But the good weather brings happy-hormones to me so of course it's magic made sure I wasn't late.

Tanning session at lunch of course - who can go past a green grassy campus and a whole lotta sun?!
And in the afternoon, E, K and I spotted the ever so ritualistic mulberries! Every year we spend our summer afternoons scavenging the tree at the back of the school for mulberries while all the teachers and everyone else warns us not to. But every year we ignore them and every year we stuff our faces in red, juicy goodness.

Colefax topped my afternoon off as E, K and I made a split-second decision to chill in the fabulous chocolate cafe. And yes, in 28 degree heat i still opted for the hotchocolate option. Who can resist?

But we can't end the story without mentioning the griller incident. After seeing Emily's great-looking Panini, I decided to make a grilled cheese sandwich when I got home.
FAIL!
Who do you know that can fail at something as simple as that? Me. clearly.
I took it out of the smoking griller as a pitch black lump of toasty coal. And now my whole house smells like smoke...
BUT... i learned from my mistakes and made another, edible one.
C'est parfait!
